Pronoun
Solo Exhibition
Jorjani Gallery — Tehran, Iran
2015
Pronoun approaches the self not as a fixed identity, but as a shifting position, moving between consciousness and the unconscious, between what can be spoken and what remains latent.
Form operates here like a pronoun: relational, unstable, and dependent on context. Through material repetition, bodily gesture, and sculptural presence, inner states surface without being named, guided by intuition and a dream-like logic.
This exhibition marks an early yet formative moment in the artist’s practice, when sculpture became a way of thinking through the self as porous, plural, and continuously in formation.
